The intent of the Architect’s Portfolio is to show the breadth of design available at Scott W. Bartholomew Architecture. Though we are based in Asheville, NC, we travel the region as requested by our clients. Presented within this Architect’s portfolio are architectural examples showing the level of detail and our ability to design within any defined architectural style or, more typically, variations on them. At Scott W Bartholomew Architecture we design for a particular client and a particular site. Each custom design is based on these clients program providing for a specific solution. 

Presented in the Architect’s Portfolio are all custom designs for a particular client though we do have stock residential plans available as well. See Pre-Designed Plan Sets.

We do not expect a client to find his or her design within this portfolio of examples, only to see the quality of design and attention to detail which we intend to provide. Not apparent on the surface often are the green and sustainable features which are further detailed within the description of each.

Each project is as unique as the client who commissioned it.
